Applications & Engineering Guarantees

Refund Policy

Transparent refund rules covering published mobile applications (Google Play Store) and milestone delivery protections for custom software engineering engagements.

Effective Date: October 1, 2026•Last Updated: October 2026

1Mobile Applications (Play Store & Sub-Products)

For mobile applications published by Rohit Vishwakarma (DevelopeOne Apps) on the Google Play Store or other digital app marketplaces, refunds and pricing are governed strictly by the product model:

Non-Refundable

Premium / Paid Apps

Premium and paid apps purchased directly from the Google Play Store are strictly non-refundable once purchased and downloaded.

Please review screenshots, feature descriptions, and system requirements carefully before purchasing.

Per App Declaration

Freemium / Subscription Apps

Freemium and subscription-based apps are refundable as per the specific in-app declaration.

Always check the individual app’s subscription terms and refund declaration prior to purchasing.

100% Free Forever

Free Apps

Free applications are completely 100% free with no upfront cost and no hidden charges.

Enjoy complete access to provided features with zero financial obligation.

2Custom Engineering Milestone Philosophy

For bespoke software engineering engagements, projects are structured into testable, verified milestones to ensure full transparency and alignment before funds are finalized.

You only accept and fund each project phase after reviewing the work against the agreed specification. This prevents surprises and ensures you receive exactly what you envisioned.

3Deposit & Project Kickoff Phase

Pre-Commencement Cancellation

If you request project cancellation before any active architectural work, codebase setup, or sprint kickoff has occurred, you are entitled to a 100% refund of your initial deposit, less any non-refundable payment gateway transaction fees (typically 2.9% - 3.5%).

Active Sprint Initiation

Once discovery workshops, system architecture, Git repository setups, and active development have commenced, the initial deposit is applied toward dedicated development hours and is non-refundable.

4Milestone Approvals & Completed Work

Once a milestone is demonstrated, deployed to staging/testing, reviewed, and formally approved by you:

  • •Approved Deliverables: Payments made for accepted milestones are final and non-refundable, as the code, assets, and intellectual property for that milestone have been delivered.
  • •Unstarted Future Milestones: If you decide to pause or terminate the project mid-engagement, you are under no obligation to pay for subsequent, unstarted project phases. Any prepaid funds allocated specifically to future, unstarted sprints will be refunded promptly.

514–30 Day Quality Guarantee & Bug Warranty

Zero-Cost Post-Launch Bug Resolution

Rather than forcing refunds over unexpected edge cases or staging bugs, every project handover includes a complimentary 14 to 30-day warranty window. If any code fails to function according to the agreed Statement of Work, I fix it promptly at zero additional cost.

6How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

To request a cancellation or discuss a refund on uncommenced milestones:

  1. Submit a written cancellation notice by email to developeoneapps@gmail.com with the subject line “Project Cancellation & Refund Request”.
  2. Include your project name, invoice reference, and reason for the request.
  3. I will review the request within 2 business days and schedule a brief sync to reconcile delivered milestones and process any eligible balance.

Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
